My job is to manage some of our key clients, mixing technical perspective with product direction and business insight. I help them realize what their products should include and what new products they should develop, and I help our engineering team understand what our clients need. My responsibilities include client management, internal team leadership, product management, market research, UI consulting, and technical account management.

Product ownership - requirements analysis & specification, including all business logic & rulesWebsite UI design and workflow developmentMarket research - competitive analysis; trend analysis; developing product requirements and new products

- Managing feature specification process, including specification template and development process- Working with product management to translate market requirements into technical feature requests- Working with product management to assess technical feasibility and priority of market requirements- Designing and maintaining system architecture documents

- Technical management and leadership including schedules, staff estimates, tracking of deliverables/staff expenditure, and partner relationship management- Team leadership, motivation, and responsibility (meetings, negotiations with management, encouragement)- High-level and low-level system integration design- Authoring of test plans and design documents as well as specifications of any features to be added to the integration layer- Assist sales force in closing deals via presentations, telephone support, etc. (some travel required)- Assist senior management in closing contract negotiations with partners vis a vis deliverables, timeframes, wording, etc.

- Adding and maintaining code for an automated speech recognition (ASR) engine- Authoring of specifications for new features- Fixing defects in the product

- Create and deploy customer-facing applications using internally-developed automated speech recognition engine- Maintain/support these applications as needed- Document details of application- Attend kick-off meetings with customer or work on-site to identify problems/solution areas
