Working within the Group Wealth Product & Services, Retail Banking and Wealth Management unit.Key Responsibilities include:• Supporting the programme manager for multiple product development• Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure that the delivery plan is adhered• Tracking milestone for the product development and flagging any risk or potential issues and reporting back to the Global head of product• Prioritise task and responsibility for different stakeholders to keep the product development plan on track• Managing relationship with third party supplier to ensure their responsibilities are delivered on time and to assist in resolving any queries or issues• Maintaining contact with global team during different time-zone to ensure the team is updated with the progress and if required escalate any issue• Working closely with other department heads who are impacted with the new product development to get their sign off• Preparing PPT presentation to report status on product development by gathering data from different team members• Translate proposal from English to Chinese to present to various entities in China

• Managing funds from very active and diverse portfolio worth over CNY 200m from 100 customers across various industries• Acquired over 100 SMEs to the business unit in a span of 4 years • Analyzing financial accounts for customers to provide them with insight and advice so they can make informed decision• Displaying superior knowledge on credit/operational risk and money laundering rules• Cross-selling products like currency forward, cash management and LCs to existing customers• Performing due diligence during customer onboarding as per the compliance requirements • Following processes with regards to money laundering while conducting international payments• Building and strengthening relationships with existing customers and potential customers• Developing referrals from existing customers and a wide range of industry contacts• Identifying opportunities to build networks across businesses locally and globally to support business development with other business areas• Collaborate with other business units like HSBC International services to ensure customer needs are met

• Review all the account opening documents of commercial banking clients• Control the documentary risks and final approval • Manage the account opening report and update the database to relevant departments• Manage other account opening team members to deliver the accurate work on time • Maintain zero account opening error every month• Handled over 40 account opening packs a day

• Explore new clients and maintain existing customers• Analyse clients’ needs and recommend solutions• Liaise with clients on all issues related to their account operations and solve their issues• Actively acquire clients by understanding their needs and sell designated bank products• Provide excellent service to clients, develop good relations with them and achieve fulfilment targets in good quantity and quality• Perform simple financial analysis and write reviews• Received several thank you letters from clients
