I am currently supporting Twin Towers Ventures (the corporate venture capital arm of PETRONAS) as General Counsel, with all aspects of its legal, regulatory and compliance matters for its funds and investments across Asia, including fund structuring and set-up work, deals and investments, and regulatory and compliance matters. Prior to this, I was Counsel (APAC) at 500 Global (a leading Silicon Valley VC firm) overseeing its legal functions & team in APAC and covering new fund structuring and formation (Delaware, Cayman, Malaysia, local domiciled funds), fundraising and LP diligence and admissions, and deals and investments. My scope of coverage at 500 Global included Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, India, and Australia.I also oversee the Corporate & Tax practice at Messrs Tan Shang Neng. My areas of practice include general corporate, commercial, funds and tax advisory work.
