Research Project: [Wireless Data Access System]• The Wireless Data Access System project is proposed to design the 2.4GHz wireless local area network system, compatible with IEEE 802.11 standard, using direct sequence and frequency hopping spread spectrum technology. The goal of this project is transfer the technology to cooperated company to produce commercial product. • I was in charge of doing: wireless LAN chipset testing and board integration (both ISA and PCMCIA card), firmware programming, leaded wireless LAN protocol development team, Access Point firmware, protocol and RTOS integration, wireless network performance testing, and support defining the wireless LAN chipset architecture.

Research Project: [Multicast Routing in Clos Networks]• This project is proposed to research how to find the fastest routing path algorithm in Clos networks, and implement to design an ATM switching system. • I was in charge of running simulation program of the switching ATM chip, analyzed the simulation result and present the simulation result to researchers. I also built and managed the working Laboratory.
