This company is also name as Volkswagen.I work as engineering's assistant as I am not experience enough to handle massive automation. I had learn how to act fast if any part of the automation went wrong. Time is very crucial for this company as if the whole automation stop for 5min, they will lose a lot of money. It only took 2min 39 sec to assemble one car, 5min, 38 sec to assemble a truck. Whenever a sire is sounded, we had to run toward the area to analyse where went wrong, while other parts of the automation is still running. We need to be aware of our surrounding. If unable to rectify the problem by 5min, we had to change the whole part of the machine directly. If one cable is place in a wrong position, it will result causing an explosion. All the cable must be 100% not expose to the environment as sometimes a spark from the wire might cause fire in high flammable environment. I learn how to perform lots of safety check to ensure the device is 100% working fine.I also had a chance to work in logistic, to work as stock count at the end of year. We had to check the inventory if any tools or equipment is missing. I had to also order new stock if currently the stock is low in quantities. With that I learn how to order in bulks and how to purchase it in a better offer. I had also a chance to list down how much a small project cost, profit, variable cost, fixed cost and etc. I had a great improvement in my excel skill and hand-on skill.
