As it was a new client, I helped the audit manager and partner to understand the history and operation of this new-energy company, such as the BOT and sales-type lease projects. I communicated with predecessor auditor to get detail information about prior periods’ audit reports, recalculated and analysed the data to find if the accounting treatments were correct.
