Patent and Know-how Dispute & Resolution (85%): Represented various MNCs in Healthcare & Phamaceuticals and TMT sectors, such as AstraZeneca, Eli Lily, Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis, BASF, TTKG, and Apple, in enforcing their patent/trade secret rights against infringers before Chinese courts, and defending a range of challenges of their patents or patent applications' validity or patentability before the CNIPA and Chinese courts. These contentious matters includes(1) patent infringement actions, patent ownership actions, PIs (preliminary injunctions), and trade secret infringement actions before the Beijing IP Court, various Chinese local courts, and the Supreme Court of China;(2) patent invalidation actions, patent rejection actions before the CNIPA, and the subsequent administrative litigation proceedings;(3) Cease and Desist Letters;(4) administrative complaints to the Market Supervision and Administration;(5) criminal proceedings before the Public Security Bureau; and(6) SEPs (standard essential patents), compound patents, second medical use patents, polymorph patents, and process patents.2. Other Dispute & Resolution (15%): (1) Represented Intel and Deutsche Telecom in enforcement of HKIAC arbitration awards in China and an array of cancellation actions in relation to the enforcement before various local courts; and (2) Represented iFlytech in defending against a local company in a corporate dispute litigation matter before Beijing Intermediate Court and won the case.
