Fuiz is a game-based learning platform designed to improve collaboration and problem-solving while making learning enjoyable. Focused on classroom education, Fuiz seamlessly integrates into typical small class discussions. Used in 60+ countries, 500 daily users.

- Fostering cross-cultural interaction and integrating 3,465 international students into the campus community through 30 social events and 2 major formal events per school year.- Organized a week-long orientation program for 130 incoming international freshmen, facilitating their transition to campus life.

My project focused on enhancing the performance of Acrobat web services by deploying GraphQL on Akamai EdgeWorkers. I developed and implemented GraphQL endpoints, leading to significant improvements in API interaction efficiency. This resulted in reduced response size, queuing time, and latency, particularly in regions with high DNS latency.

During my year-long research, I developed the Datacenter Sustainability Evaluation Model (DCSEM) to address the complex challenge of optimizing both financial and environmental sustainability in datacenter operations. This model provides a quantitative framework for evaluating the trade-offs between energy costs, carbon emissions, and capital investment, helping to determine the optimal timing for hardware replacement in research computing environments. My work highlights the importance of proactive life-cycle management to reduce operational costs and minimize environmental impact.

- Augmented existing ML schedulers with congestion estimation, significantly improving their performance and enabling support fordata and model parallel approaches. Utilized Python and tensorflow.- Developed a non-convex optimization formulation for minimizing job completion time under problem constraints, and collaboratedwith a supervisor to explore and implement non-standard solving techniques to achieve efficient convergence.
