Currenta. Assists new hires with on-boarding forms through Position Manager.b. Work in conjunction with Information Systems in developing new employee section of Union Hospital website to be welcoming and informative to new hires.c. Coordinate the 30-day and 90-day follow up orientation meetings.d. Conducts orientation for nursing students.e. In conjunction with Healthcare Recruiter, keep contact with students that may be graduating by mailings and e-mails.f. Work with HRIS Specialist and Benefits in coordinating new hire on-line employee benefit enrollment.g. Research social networking sites to utilize for recruitment efforts as a communication tool.h. Assist managers in coordinating the buddy and mentoring program for new hires.i. Provide backup for human resource orientation.j. Fast Track new manager orientation. k. Prepares monthly and quarterly HR Metrics.l. Prepares overdue performance evaluation listing.2. Conducts end user training on Human Resource Systems to Managers, Directors, and staff employees. Systems include: Lawson, Kronos, Position Manager, and Performance Manager.3. Assists the recruiters in interviewing during peak hiring seasons or vacations.4. In consultation with the Vice President and System Manager, Human Resources, provides or assists with staff development programs relevant to all levels of personnel in leadership/management topics as they relate to: Human Resources, Customer Service, Benefits, and Payroll.a. Incorporates principles of instructional design in planning educational programs.b. Plans staff development programs in response to needs of employees’ and the organization's needs and goals.c. Develops documents to support the educational activity, e.g., competency checklists, handouts, evaluations.
