• To protect the highly catalytic preferred facets, nanoparticles with mesoporous silica shell is synthesized.
• Besides, the impacts of surfactant types and concentration for the silica coating procedure is also well-discussed in this project.
• In the results, the synthesized mesoporous silica-coated Au nanorods exhibit CO conversion up to 95% at 340°C and an impressive shape thermal stability up to 500°C for 6 hours.

• Working on the project of Titanate Photocatalysis Materials in a three-members project team.
• The transition metal ions, including Fe/Co/Ni, substituted titanate are synthesized, then the protonation and exfoliation are applied to obtain the nano-sheets of layer titanate.
• In the results, the nano-sheets of Fe/Co/Ni, substituted titanate both exhibit higher photocatalytic activity than the bulk substituted titanate.
