TomoIR: Getting Human Wrist TomographyAdvisor: Prof. Alanson Sample • Conducted research on human wrist tomography based on photo-transistor current excited by LED beams.• Implemented algorithm using Arduino interrupts to enable communication between master boards and slaveboards and thus control the analog-to-digital converter(ADC) sampling and LEDs.• Implemented Python code that calculates the tomography based on the sensor readings and visualizes the result.

MagDesk: Enabling Real-Time, Interactive Surfaces via Magnetometer ArrayAdvisor: Prof. Alanson Sample and Prof. Dongyao Chen• Developed high-speed synchronized data transmission to collect 112 magnetometers’ readings via Bluetooth and serial communication at around 70 Hz.• Conducted real-time measurement of magnets’ positions without line-of-sight requirements.• Constructed calculation and visualization process to produce a real-time plot of magnets’ positions.
