As a product owner, I drive the development & productization of a Predictive Maintenance application that predicts equipment failures in real-time by applying machine learning to IoT data. I managed a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers through the entire product development life cycle from PoC (Proof-of-Concept) to production deployment. Then I drive productization into platform-as-a-service for developing IoT & AI applications.I created product roadmap & requirement, and became deeply involved technically to ensure product delivery, including generalizable data models, batch & streaming data pipelines, connectors, data science & visualization tool box, modeling framework, and deployment. Achieved successful deployment at a top US Utility with 7X improvement in model accuracy, resulting in two-year ARR paymentI also work with domain experts and customers to gain domain understanding and develop a data model per use case. In addition, I work with Sales to develop pricing model and streamline sales process to reduce time-to-value to customers.

Serving as the right hand man to the President, I developed and executed on JA's product launch strategy in the US to establish manufacturing and sales operation. I worked across functions to manage complex technical projects: drove product build at leading contracted manufacturers, streamlined and scaled sales, and evaluated partnership and investment opportunities. In addition, I spearheaded business development to explore new revenue models.

As the first employee in the US, I initiated Sunowe's entrance to the U.S. market, and built the company from the ground up. I worked with management to formulate a market-entry strategy: defined market positioning, targeted customer segments, and identified sales channels. Subsequently I executed on that strategy, and recruited and trained a sales team across the nation. I also managed the subsidiary's P&L, developed strategic relationship for operation support, and implemented changes to U.S. operating models to reduce cost.

As the youngest member on the R&D team, I developed Sub-One's proprietary PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) coating technology targeting the energy industry. I developed new products based on customer needs and managed a research project aimed to incrase product efficiency. I earned the trust of sales and became the go-to engineer to transfer technology and troubleshoot at customer sites.
