I'm lucky my first job out of university was at the company I'm at now, 3DataX. As part of a small team, I was able to work on many diverse projects with wide range of diverse tech stacks. The bulk of my work comprises Frontend/Backend Javascript/Typescript work, but I've also worked on pure Backend projects in C++, Java, Python and other languages. I gained a lot of experience with React, Graphql (a variety of tools/libraries) and Sequelize, but every project is different and I've encountered more technologies (old, new, deprecated, cutting-edge, annoying, actually really cool, ... ) than I could list here. For a year now I've been immersed in Yocto and embedded Linux, a very welcome addition to my skillset.I'd call myself puzzle-oriented, which is why I love my job. Building new software and investigating bugs are my favourite tasks, but I am also just happy to know I delivered good work (and clean code) at the end of the day. As part of a small company, I try to keep the bigger picture in mind.Additional skills:- While not on par with a professional UX/UI Designer, my background in arts (I studied Fine Arts at art school for four years) and a general love for good design enables me to rig up decent-looking interactive website mockups in Figma. It helps when visualizing changes to the layout of a website/app and quickly test out new ideas.- University courses (Bachelor/Master) in a scientific field (Physics) gave me ample mathematical prowess to carry out data analysis when needed.- Currently getting immersed in the world of Yocto and embedded Linux programming. It can be very frustrating, but is immensely rewarding.AI:I studied AI technologies in university and 3DataX is also proud of implementing cutting-edge AI technology in their solutions. I am not interested in LLM and generative AI at all. I'm more curious about the potential of AI to improve efficiency in other fields.
