The project was extensively explored through multiple workshop sessions in Brazil, including a Bodystorming and Service Experience Workshop in a full-scale prototype of the space built by our team._Innovation for ArtisansIs tradition ready for innovation? How can we innovate artisan's hand craft process with digital design and fabrication tools? I led a team of researchers and worked closely with four artisan companies in Florence to find ways to integrate the new tools with tradition. During the first phase of the project, we also researched various materials, from conductive ink to self-actuating fibers for potential use in creating user-inspired interactive products. _Make/Florence Makeathon In this 3-day event, we invited team of designers/ craftsmen/ engineers/ strategists to design a new souvenir for Florence. Emphasis on user interaction and digital experience through the physical object of a souvenir. I was in charge of organizing and leading the workshop.
