My main research interest remains in the field of numerical linear algebra (NLA), especially iterative solvers. I am most interested in preconditioning, matrix theory, algorithms for solving large-scale linear systems, and real-world applications of NLA like numerical methods of PDEs.I have been a software product manager for two years. PM is a rewarding career in the sense that it teaches you about values from the perspective of market and clients, and pushes you to think sensibly about the optimization of values. Simply put, you not only decide what to do and when to do it, but somewhat more importantly what not to do as well. To accomplish that, you must be good at discerning and deconstructing problems. The PM way of thinking is applicable and helpful in my everyday life.A bit about my personal life. I am a fan of Mark Knopfler and John Deacon, and I myself play bass guitar and keyboard.
