• Manage Mac, Portable, iPod, iPhone and Accessory product line projects, including 1st and 2nd generation iPhone product design development from concept to release• Monitor OEM/ODM projects activites timely and efficiently to meet the development schedules • Plan multiple projects’ roadmap, schedule and delivery plan for sample review and development build, incorporating with tight deadline and priorities changes to focus on on-time delivery and high quality deliverables• Set strategy and direction, provide leadership, make planning decision, guide development priorities, risk analysis/management between different functional team• Develop, track and coordinate project activities with deployment plan of China and US based Apple engineering team and overseas supplier’s engineering team for development builds• Drive Industrial Designer, Engineering Product Design team, Operation Process team and Tooling team for closure on design decision and issue.• Manage engineering and design team on development and deliverable to ID for surface finish/color investigation and selection implementation on the next generation projects • Work with design and operation team on tool set requirement for multiple projects• Drive tooling kickoffs and validation progress of multiple production tool sets for on-time delivery for ramp readiness• Facilitate the transition of programs from development to production

• Managed multiple programs with successful on time ramping. Project included: G5 Towers, XServe, iBook, eMac, iMac, iPod, iPod Accessories and other Special Projects.• Resource and schedule planning of multiple projects through rapid development.• Work with US design team and manage overseas team in turning ideas into reality.• Manage suppliers to ensure good quality products are shipped. Duties include: tracking deliverable, oversee support, problem solving, review quality plan and supplier bring up. • Manage and organize Apple supplier quality team to support new product readiness and ramp at overseas suppliers.• Navigate projects through constant change.• Work with highly skill industrial design team, electrical and mechanical product design team and operation team for development and mass production of innovative new product.• Extensive travel and experience working with off shore high volume manufactures (e.g. China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Mexico).

• Main quality support to Apple Sacramento manufacturing site. (Failure analysis, Data collection, drives on-site rework projects, driving suppliers for continuous improvement.) • Participate in R&D, brought up new supplier (technology, process, quality), performance verification, audits for new projects (iMac, eMac, Towers, and Severs product).• Plan, manage and execute projects within fast pace, high-pressure environment; worked with cross functional team (Product Engineer, Industrial Designer, Global Supplier Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Production, Planning, Buyer, etc.)• Communication between all levels of personnel including presentations to upper management.• Personal communication with many vendors of various cultural background and levels. • Commodities managed included: Enclosure, Electromechanical, Print Pack, Inbox Items, CD Replication, HD, Optical Drive, Memory, MLB, MPU

• Work with Engineering Project Manager to model and design changes to the Elk Grove manufacturing facility. • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. production, logistics, etc) Planning and executing projects within fast pace, high-pressure environment.
