Yina studied and lived in UK for more than ten years before returning to China in 2013, she worked for many British designer brands and retailers to gain vast experience in oversea product development and branding management. After returning to home country, she has been vigorously promoting maker startups and the industrial design industry, both internationally and locally. She served more than 800 creative enterprises within Shenzhen Industrial Design Association and was also involved in organizing some of the country’s well known industrial events, such as “Shenzhen International Maker Week”, “Shenzhen International Industrial Design Exhibition”, “Fab12” which is The Twelfth Global Fab Lab Annual Meeting initiated by MIT, and a number of other international and industrial events. During Yina’s tenure at Sino-Finnish Design Park, she took the integration of global innovation community with local industrial chain to whole new level, providing a complete innovation ecosystem for innovators and startups, helping various smart hardware, AI, IOT and other newly found projects finding local suppliers, partners, channels and investors, encouraging diversified project development opportunities. Her work over the years has received lots of attention from many national and cross- straits media such as CCTVinternational channel andTaiwanbusiness week.
