I am an incoming 6th year doctoral candidate in statistics at Oregon State University, with a focus in methods for genomics. Through my research in sparse data analysis methods, I have significant experience across the breadth of statistics, from theoretical developments to computation and simulation. In addition, I am a graduate teaching assistant and a department statistical consultant which has helped me hone my communication skills when speaking on technical subjects and the soft skills necessary to work in the collaborative field of statistics. I previously obtained an MS in computer science from Oregon State University and a BS in network engineering from Zhejiang Gongshang University (浙江工商大学) in Hangzhou, China.
