Since the start of this year, we have successfully unified our production unit, bringing together a team of skilled researchers and technicians to work on a diverse range of high-quality products. As the team leader, I am proud to supervise the production of pepper DH plants, cannabis feminized seeds, and micropropagation, with plans to expand our offerings to include tomato and potato DH plants in the near future.

After I optimized the DH protocols for various genotypes of pepper, especially spicy peppers. I am responsible for aligning the corporate strategies of MT in NL with the vision and objectives of the board of directors in CN. My key duties include coordinating and facilitating communication and cooperation between the Dutch and Chinese teams, managing the development and implementation of various business projects and initiatives, and monitoring project progress and financial performance.

I have successfully optimized the doubled haploid (DH) protocols for various genotypes of pepper, including hot pepper and snack pepper. Our new protocol has reduced the DH production time to just 4 months, from buds to plants that can be delivered to our clients. In particular, we have achieved an impressive 95% DH ratio for snack pepper and above 80% DH ratio for hot pepper using our optimized protocols.

I was intensively involved in communication and collaboration with Dutch and Chinese management teams, on-site presentations and discussions. The discussions related to project progress, and coordination of scientific research projects including drug development and vegetable breeding. I also created progress reports for the Chinese board of directors, represented their company at press conferences for Chinese national news, and accomplished over 20 scientific research projects.
