I have always been fascinated by human relationships. When I started observing myself as an outsider and seeing what naturally took most of my attention and time, I found out it was the human behaviors, moreover, the thoughts behind them. It was an asking “why” process. Taking any possible details I could get from any behaviors and then extracting intentions and thoughts to fill in the “why”, I realized there is a deep and broad area. With this passion in mind, my undergrad education guides me through inquiring, processing, and sorting every possible detail to fill in the answers of “why”—foundations of human minds, behaviors, as well as formations and operations of societies. I decided to devote myself to combining academic theory with practical/experimental applications/operations. To Enhance my professional experience in OD, I had a summer internship as the Engagement & Associates Experience intern at Giant Food. With the intensive individual research and cross-departmental collaboration, I not only developed strong communication skills and skills in project management but also have been stimulated to inquire further about the fundamental significance and meaning of OD. I believe that only when we study and comprehend the fundamentals and origins, are we able to practice strong applications. I would love to pursue a Master’s degree to further my study in the field of OD and keep my mind open to any possible opportunities.
