As a business automation senior at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, I leveraged my master's degree in information from the University of Wisconsin-Madison to build and maintain data mining tools and database infrastructure for library services. My core competencies include databases, database design, and Microsoft Power BI.In collaboration with the Library Services Team, the State data coordinator, and the IT department, I designed and developed a next generation MySQL database infrastructure that enhanced the accuracy and consistency of data. I also built library service data ETL tools over 100k unstructured excel data in Python, improving data management efficiency by 80%. I authored handover documents and mentored other team members to utilize and maintain the data mining tools. I am passionate about streamlining data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team as a former management information system student at Baylor University and an information student at Northeastern University.
