I am an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Management and Innovation, University of Toronto Mississauga, teaching in the Master of Urban Innovation program. My research examines the intersection of real estate and urban social policies. I'm particularly fascinated by entrepreneurs in the non-profit and public sectors who use their market capabilities to advance various social goals, such as building truly affordable housing. My work bridges urban planning, urban geography, real estate studies, and policy analysis, and maintains a strong commitment to working and communicating with practitioner partners.
