Develop vulnerability functions of buildings and structures when they are exposed to the actions of hurricane and extra-tropical windstorms.

CPP is one of the leading commercial wind tunnel test providers in the world. My role was to manage and perform wind tunnel testing for high-rise buildings and dynamically sensitive structures (e.g., satellite/aerospace launch vehicles) for clients around the world.

Perform researches in wind engineering and wind effects on built environment, particularly on wind loading and wind effects of tall buildings and structures. Published more than 10 research papers in top wind/structural engineering journals (such as Journal of Structural Engineering, ASCE). One of proposed approaches, the new gust loading factor, has been adopted by ASCE 7.
