My org focus on SOTA AI research that can level up business to the next level across Ads, Reels, Instagram, etc. Our technical focus across reinforcement learning, large-scale training, morden hardware/modeling co-design, sequence modeling, multi-domain modeling, modeling efficiency optimization, generative AI in recommendation, etc. We start with research and bring research results into production with direct top-line impacts in business and production ML stack.I'm aggressively hiring experienced applied research leads in the directions mentioned above. As a strong believer in investing creators/producers/suppliers, I created the central Marketplace Seller team to help Marketplace to take a supply side pov of the business. Incubated Live Shopping to reach product market fit, and it is now one of the key product experience for Facebook Shops. Introduced Facebook Shops onto Facebook Marketplace and started the B2C product lines in Marketplace. Started from 0, in 6 months becomes the largest contributor to FB Shops transactions.

Homepage, Yahoo! mobile apps and personalization cross all Yahoo! properties.The new generation of Yahoo! Personalization Platform, which is a freshly new design of state-of-art personalization platform targeting to provide deep personalized content and ads experience for each individual user cross web-scale content pool. Lead the architecture design and development of the platform. The platform is in production in March of 2013 and currently driving 100% traffic of the newly launched brand-new Yahoo! homepage (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124813737985367091.html) cross US major international markets. The platform also drives Yahoo! Finance, News, Sports homepage and article pages. New Yahoo! mobile app and Yahoo! The CORE platform provides personalized content recommendation for almost all modules for Yahoo! frontpage with more than 2B daily impressions. The platform also drives personalized recommendation for Yahoo! global news, My Yahoo!, Y! Messneger Insider, Y! Mobile homepage, Y! Shopping, Y! Travel and many other Yahoo! properties. Product features includes popularity based recommendation, light recommendation (demo segment based), deep personalization (per user inferred interests), affinity (collaborative filtering), Infinite Browse, which provides contextual relevancy recommendation based on the page user currently reading. Infinite Browse system delivers the related content module on Yahoo!
