The world’s pressing and complex challenges - environmental, political, and economic - are interlinked, and fundamental transformation at all scales are called for. I have worked with some leading and grassroots environmental and justice groups globally to strategize for technological and social innovation, to campaign for equitable and efficient global governance, and redefine market rules. This advocacy and activism are rooted in rigorous and grounded field research and theories derived in places of East Africa and India. This training underpins my strengths in strategy development, program design, knowledge management and learning facilitation. I believe in building durable relationships across cultural and disciplinary boundaries to stimulate systemic solutions. I seek to understand and continuously experiment how the diffusion of ideas and innovations, movements from below, and a mix of policy and market mechanisms can help countries make a climate-resilient and just transition.
