The Loshon Limudim Program:The Jewish people have always been known as the People of the Book. Seemingly unending shelves overflowing with the written word as transcribed through the generations, testify to our affinity to writing. In fact, writing is the greatest testament to erudite scholarship. The process of formulating one's thoughts to commit them to paper, as well as clarifying and recording them in the form of writing, enhances one's ability to properly understand and retain one's learning. Therefore, our greatest leaders and thinkers throughout the ages have always valued and stressed the importance of writing as a way of intensifying and enriching scholarship.Unfortunately, proper writing skills and procedure are not formally taught in our Yeshivos, and this lack of ability is one of the prime deterrents to more voluntary writing on the part of our students. The Loshon Limudim program was initiated to change that. By offering incentives to promote writing, the volume of writing has increased. And our innovative editing system is addressing the lack of proper writing skills and technique, and improving the quality of the writing produced.Personal Description:Experienced writer/editor, authored three published Hebrew sefarim, worked as editor and ghostwriter on many others.
