Developer on Priority ERP system

Returned to RCS from subsidiary, with no official change in responsibilities.In practice, now involved in one way or another with much of the company's IT/IS activity, following staffing changes in recent years.

This is a development of my position at RCS. Rampal spun us off into Rampal Software Innovations.• Design and implementation of the database for the parent company's new trading system (MS-SQL with ASP.NET MVC)• Data migrations both to the previous trading system and from it to the new system• Key contributor to a proposal for a new business model and the processes required – a year-long analysis and planning project• Built and managed interface systems for financial data and two distinct e-commerce projects, saving tens of person-hours per month in total• Design and implementation of system to handle bounced marketing emails• Continued responsibilities as described in the RCS position

• Guidance regarding day-to-day use of ERP system (Priority) in practically every department• Analysis of business requirements and advice on implementation decisions• Design and implementation of custom extensions to off-the-shelf ERP system• Schema design and data extraction and load for MS-CRM project • Creation of complex SQL Server views based on ERP data for daily use by managers and finance department• ERP system version upgrades• Adaptation of in-house synchronisation program to add bi-directional interfacing with ERP system• Implementation of bi-directional interfaces between MS-CRM and ERP systems• Liaison with external customers and suppliers to implement automatic transfer of financial/logistical data

Worked freelance for a number of companies:• Performed system development specified by project managers, working on-site with clients and remotely• Specified and built interfaces of varying complexity for external systems (data entry and bi-directional)• Implemented filtering of screens, documents and reports for a multi-branch environment• Created and modified reports and documents (HTML and old style), extended database schema, added warnings and restrictions for policy enforcement

• Maintained, modified and extended Priority system (on Tabula RDBMS) with limited resources and support• Rescued at-risk e-commerce project; provided sales support/coordination for operational system• Managed computers and network (up to 50-60 users)
