As a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Michigan, I am working on a project that introducing aerogel into solar receiver of parabolic troughs to enhance the efficiency at higher temperatures.I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where I worked as a research assistant for four years. My dissertation focused on the synthesis, modification and characterization of hydrogel polymer networks, especially the application in atmospheric water harvesting. Our re-designed AWH approach demonstrates a significantly high water capture ability at extremely low humidity/arid environment. I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at several conferences. I have also developed strong skills in presentations, scientific reports, and data analysis. I am passionate about advancing the field of polymer materials and creating innovative solutions for environmental challenges.
