• Collaborated with Dr. Asher and CR staff to redesign and modify the automatic Reverse Osmosis (RO) filter test rig, which greatly reduced the effort of artificial control, and made it possible to test RO filters in a quantitative way.• Developed and documented water filter test methods for three categories of water filters for subsequent researchers to refer.• Tested and evaluated 15 models of filters about their flow rate, turbidity removal, E.coli removal, hardness removal, and lifetime at CR lab over the summer, and will continue to evaluate 7 of them for further analysis.• Compose a comparative report to the U.S. Agency for International Development, which will be published in November.• Present the findings at the TechCon conference held in San Francisco in November.
