Pre-Opening

Four Seasons was a great experience for me. Even thou I was a intern here, I had chance to be in every step of the operation. First I started at the background, learned how to operate at the background, make preparations and watch the operations. Later I moved to the Lounge Bar. At Lounge Bar I was doing much more, I was the Host, the Server. I was also controlling the tables, managing the background, getting the pickups, preparing the setups, making the orders and much more. I was also closing the Lounge Bar and getting the Z Report. That experience made me much faster and careful then before. Also it gave me possibility of engage with the guest’s and made me learn more about service standard’s. Also my superiors gave me chance to get better at mixology by letting me try something new everyday and present it to them. While I was working there I had chance to participate at banquet event’s as well and get experienced with banquet’s too. It enhanced me at almost every aspect of the service.

The Reason I started working here is basically because my Bar Chef told me to "see the Nişantaşı as well if you want". After I spend couple of days here I decided to work here as well, I had more opportunity to learn more about recipes and crafts here. While I was working here I was also working at Beşiktaş as well, I was here 2 days a week while I was working 3 days a week at Beşiktaş. My relations here was also good as Beşiktaş after the first week so they helped me as much and helped me improve myself. After the Classic Cocktails I started to learn about Signature Cocktails of Joker and other craft cocktails. The reason why I had to quit is basically a bit of a work accident and mostly school, I couldn’t find time because of school. I really enjoyed working all the tempo and constant self improvement.

I had my first working experience at Joker NO:19. I started as a Bar boy and then raised. I tried to learn as much as I can from The Bartenders and Barmen's there. In time I began to prepare cocktails. Till I reach this state, I washed the dishes and cleaned the place mostly. I was the one who was closing the bar. After that I get to the draft station, and slowly get to the Cocktail Station. I was positive and curious. The Bartenders there saw that too and helped me to learn as much as I can. I was able to learn much about how a bar works, human relations, time management by living it. Because of Joker NO:19's work pace I was able to get faster. Then I learned much about cocktail recipes, cocktail crafting and sauce crafting. I was able to learn about alcohol balance of a cocktail as well as taste harmony and much more. I also learned about changing draft barrels, ordering barrel room, changing air tubes. I improved myself on alcohol cultures and how they made as well.
