  In my current capacity, I play a key role in all aspects of property and tenancy management. This encompasses maintaining public rental housing estates; investigating and screening applications for public rental housing; and implementing Housing Authority housing policies. As part of my remit, I perform enforcement duties relating to a range of issues such as squatters, clearance, illegal parking, obstruction, environmental hygiene, and Housing Ordinance issues. Separately, I manage a range of financial transactions, and these can include settling payments through the Enterprise Resource Planning system, as well as calculating monthly rental balances for the residential estate, and complying with annual budgetary requirements. A crucial aspect of my role is assuring the quality of service provision, and I do so by monitoring cleaning and security contractor company performance, and resolving complaint and enquiry cases. The role also requires me to maintain and operate slope drills as a precautionary measure to mitigate against landslides. Finally accountability lies with me to compile action plans that bring forward and prioritise previously defined targets, and identify future actions to be achieved for the coming year ahead, such as environment protection activity, renovations and new builds.
