I have been working as business to business marketer in the telecoms industry for more than 25 years. The majority of this time was spent at Poynting Antennas where I joined the company at it's inception in 1996. Major achievements were starting a factory in 2000 and listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (AltX) in 2008. A highlight of my career was starting a new company (PoyntingDirect) that was first an online shop, and later retail outlets, for our antennas in South Africa.After nearly 20 years at Poynting I have decided it is time for change. My current interest is building personal brands for small business owners and key people in their companies using LinkedIn. People are often shy to "brag"​ about themselves, or just forget key achievements in their career. I focus on identifying and including all of these in a comprehensive LinkedIn profile.
