CurrentI am developing and designing numerical algorithms and performance portability layers for heterogeneous systems for high-performance multiphysics simulation software Flash-X. The goal is to achieve better accuracy and performance with reduced memory requirements (numerical methods) across different hardware platforms, including GPUs (performance portability).I also work on designing a simulation setup for a high-energy electron beam study. The project aims to couple two different simulators - particle-matter interactions and magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) codes.The simulation design needs to have complex physical models, so I am examining and modifying physics models of multi-physics, high-performance scientific codes, and analyzing simulation data to minimize numerical artifacts and tune multiple parameters.
