OBJECTIVE: to be part of Digital Age evolution and its new challengesWe are at the dawning of the Digital Age. The last fifteen years have been characterized by some events that laid the foundations for this Digital Age and I am delighted to have taken part in this adventure. The first event was the telecoms liberalization and it took effect in Europe when I joined Alcatel Mobile Phone.This period (1997-2001) was very exciting because in less of 3 years, Alcatel multiplied by one hundred the volume of its production (20 million in 2000). I took part in this challenge with Alcatel by launching in 1998 the first production in China of Alcatel’s mobile phones.I continued with Flextronics (2001-2005) to manage some projects for Alcatel with a focus on business management and development. We contributed with the others actors of the GSM market to get the cheap mobile phones that was also one of the events for the building of the Digital Age.Then in Thomson, I was involved in the industrial projects for a wide range of products used in the digital workflows that have part in the shaping of the way that IP services are delivered to the home. During this period (2005-2008), I strengthened my operations management practices and my knowledge in cash flow management.I joined Ingenico in 2008. Based on a strong industrial background and my appetence for the Information systems, I promoted and led with success the setup of Ingenico’s MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). We have leveraged MES and PLM to make progress towards the digital factory vision by using the cloud technologies.One cannot deny the historical change in direction represented by the Digital Age. Most part of the business is or will be soon impacted by this new Age that will force the innovation in order to continue to create value and to keep leadership.After having been involved in the foundation of the Digital Age, I want now to be part of its evolution and new challenges.
