Supervise site coordinators, teachers, AmeriCorps members, interns and volunteers.*CLUES’ adult education program was recognized as a PEGASUS Program of Excellence by the Minnesota Department of Education in 2011

Teach “English 1300: Reading and Writing for College Success” for at-risk, first yearstudents to help them develop academic skills needed for college success. Collaborate with paired core class instructor to align instruction and support students. Achieve high levels of student success and engagement through combination of challenging standards and caring support for each individual.

Provide leadership for scholarship program serving over 700 low-income, first generation students to achieve over 97% retention and over 75% college graduation rates. Supervise team of 6-8 off-site advisors. Coordinate services with representatives at colleges and universities to support student success. Manage scholar application and selection process in partnership with area high schools. Expanded program to include students from12 additional high schools in 7 districts.

Developed and compiled new curriculum, lessons and materials for Professional Skills class to prepare 18-24 year old urban and immigrant youth for successful corporate apprenticeships that led them to achieve professional careers and transition to higher education. Taught classes and advised students.

Implemented education programs for refugees and immigrants including adult ESL, refugee orientation, and workforce development. Developed new curriculum, taught classes and advised students. Expanded capacity to serve over 600 students per year through strategic planning, fiscal management and grant and report writing. Supervised 8 to 10 teachers, plus support staff and volunteers.
