In 2015, the core technology and operations of Somateq were spun off to form Kide Systems, while Somateq continued to operate as a personal consulting firm supporting my individual business needs.- Led Somateq through its early years, securing €400,000 in revenue during its first fiscal year and achieving an AAA credit rating.- After spinning off Kide Systems, Somateq remained active as a specialized consultancy in healthcare IT and medical certifications (ISO13485, MDD CE).- Continued providing strategic advice and consulting services to a range of healthcare technology companies, focusing on management consulting, IT architecture, and compliance.

During my decade at Mawell, I was a core part of the management team as the company grew from a seven-person startup to a 250-employee business with €37M in annual revenue. My central responsibility throughout this period was overseeing software engineering, while I also held dual roles in business management.Software Engineering Leadership:I directed the development of Mawell's healthcare IT solutions, focusing on medical imaging software, self-care portals, and custom software projects for healthcare providers. As CTO, I led the technology strategy, managed product development across two countries, and coordinated ISO13485 and MDD certification processes to ensure compliance with international healthcare standards.- Led a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying innovative healthcare software solutions, including radiology information systems and PACS viewers.- Supervised architectural design and the execution of both internal products and customer-specific healthcare solutions.Business Management and Country Leadership:In parallel with my technical responsibilities, I served as the Country Manager for Finland and SVP for Personal e-Health.
