As the Head of Sustainability at Liseberg, a position that was new when I entered, I had a broad responsibility to drive, coordinate, monitor, and develop sustainability and ESG efforts. In this role I led a team of three professionals - two Environmental Specialists and one Accessibility Specialist. My work included the implementation of the organization's sustainability strategy and objectives, management system, ISO certification, internal and external audits, training initiatives, internal and external communication with various stakeholders, regulatory compliance, sustainability reporting including stakeholder and materiality analysis as well as communication.I was also leading Liseberg's Sustainability Steering Committee and I represented Liseberg in various forums and networks. As the Head of Sustainability, I was also an integral part of Liseberg's leadership team.

As an Environmental Specialist at Liseberg, I was entrusted with a multifaceted role encompassing environmental certification, chemical management, regulatory compliance, oversight, and interactions with authorities. I supported managers and colleagues in various environmental and chemical issues, while also representing Liseberg in diverse forums and networks. In this role, I was part of the leadership team within the Technical & Safety function.

As a Sustainability Consultant and Project Manager at WSP, I've successfully planned and executed diverse projects for various organizations and industries. As an Environmental Engineer, a new position within the company coinciding with the completion of Mölndal Energi's new combined heat and power plant, my role involved overseeing and reporting on environmental performance. This included annual environmental reports, nitrogen oxide declarations, and reports within the CO2 emissions trading system. I ensured compliance with permits, conditions, control programs, and relevant environmental legislation. I served as the liaison with regulatory authorities, participated in external and internal audits, and conducted risk analyses, and more. In addition to environmental matters, I managed water chemistry at Mölndal Energi's production facilities and the associated laboratory, where water chemistry was monitored and adjusted.

As a Quality and Environmental Controller at Mölndal Energi, I worked on a cross-functional and strategic level, addressing quality, occupational health, and environmental matters. This position was new when I entered and I was a member of Mölndal Energis' executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. I formed and implemented the organization’s management system from scratch, concurrently enhancing competencies and stakeholder buy-in. I ensured that the entire organization achieved certification under ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental), and AFS 2001:1 (occupational health, later ISO 45001).Additionally, I played an active role in the process of obtaining environmental permits for a new combined heat and power plant, which included creating environmental impact assessments, control programs, and participating in court proceedings under the Swedish Environmental Act.

As an Environmental Expert, I carried out audits according to ISO 14001 and EMAS, as well as reviewed documents from companies based on TCO's environmental labeling requirements for products such as monitors and computers.
