I was elected as one of Redbrick's Events Officers for two consecutive years in the role. My role as events officer involved:- the organisation and running of events from start to finish - being the initial point of contact for external companies, and society members, in the setting up of events, as well as scheduling and facilitation. I was responsible for delivering an array of engaging events, such as talks, workshops, and social events, fitted to a tight academic calendar.

I worked as the supervisor in Camile Phibsborough. This role allowed me to take myskills previously acquired in multitasking, and operation of the restaurant, and teachthem to the people reporting to me, and further develop the training I provided tonew and junior staff.The duties and responsibilities I had while in this role:- Managing the counter and pass staff.- Ensureing effective collaboration between the counter, packers, and the kitchen itself.- Keeping the quality of the food and service up to standards.- Training and developing of new staff and junior staff.- Dealing with escalations of customer complaints or issues with orders, and theirsatisfactory resolution.

This requiredmultitasking skills, customer relation skills and an ability to keep up with the fast-paced environment. I delegated tasks to ensure the smooth running during busyperiods. Additionally, I trained new staff and trained up junior staff.
