This is evident in COTFONE’ efforts to mainstream disaster risk reduction and management, and climate change adaptation into her development planning. Kayinga was nominated and shortlisted under the 2022 European Union (EU) Human Rights Defenders Award for being instrumental in raising the voices of people and communities in greater Masaka region suffering from a combination of disasters as a result of the development of oil and its infrastructures including the Kabaale International Airport and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) in Uganda. Kayinga is among the African Civil Society Interim Active observers to the board of the Fund responding to Loss and Damage under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) a UN process and an international treaty among countries to combat "dangerous human interference with the climate system" representing the voices of the most affected communities especially children, youth, women and people with disabilities in Africa. Directs and coordinates the Slow Food activities of the eight districts in South Western Uganda.

Overseas ABC4All Efforts in Africa that is created to bring resources together to create improvements in local communities.

Responsible for linking all the activities TASO Masaka carries out in its cathment area for effective service delivery and referal including Child and legal Protection Services.

Directs and manages NAYD works with associations and groups of youth across Uganda to educate, inform and inspire others to use their power, privilege, skills and abilities to create a better world for current and future generations.

The Managing Director is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. This post is also a member of the management team and Board of Directors.
