A green deep-tech startup company comprises scientists from the University of Oxford, breaking plastic waste into high-quality building blocks (or monomers) to create a circular plastic economy.

• Promote and share SCI's events, awards information, and membership.

• Collaborated in a group of 4 to investigate the online learning subscription service on the market.• Provided early business advice to the client for better positioning the service they offer to the audience and stand out in an increasingly crowded market.

• Joined in this 6 week programme, aim at illuminating potential industrial and enterprise career routes for women PhD researchers in STEM.

• Ran Chemistry workshops based on the idea of escape rooms for students who were visiting the colleges of the university. This activity encouraged students to use various facets of their chemistry knowledge in a fun and practical application. • A lot of positive feedback was received, on how much they enjoyed working on these fun, challenging yet satisfying puzzles.

• Supervised up to 15 undergraduate students in carrying out laboratory experiments, marking lab reports, and providing support to the teaching laboratory staff.

• CIPTA is a pre-accelerator program organsied by iCUBE which aims to connect keen investors and Malaysian students in the United Kingdom to transform the idea into a startup.• Won second-runner-up prize based on the final pitch to a panel of judges, showcasing the ideas, creations, and growth potential.

• Learnt about outsourcing products from overseas, product listings, customer service, marketing strategies, running Ads and logistics.

• Inspired and engaged young people with STEM subjects through scientific demonstration during Science Festivals. • Joined in Science X event as a demonstrator at ‘Chemistry-Nail it’ stall and carried out some hands-on activities to demonstrate the chemistry behind the manicure to the public.• Joined in Manchester Science Festival as a facilitator at Spider Phobia Experiment stall, Power Playground workshop which explored the kids with the theme of power, energy and electricity and Sun Detectors workshop.• Demonstrated flexibility in delivering scientific concept to different groups of audience and how to motivate engagement in public through linking the science with daily life.

• Delivered workshops to school students for them to gain hands-on experience with spectroscopy techniques while providing the students with insights into research and industrial applications of these techniques.

• As a PASS coordinator, I conducted debrief sessions with 35 PASS leaders to discuss and resolve issues faced by leaders while running the study sessions. • As a PASS leader, I tailored and conducted a weekly study group for 13 first-year students to provide support to students’ experiences both academically and socially. 70% attendance was achieved throughout the year with positive feedback from the attendees. • Received Advance PASS Leader Award for the outstanding contributions.

• Conducted quality control assessments including assay tests, pH tests, specific gravity tests, viscosity tests, heavy metal tests and blister pack leak tests for a capsule-based product. • Analysed data obtained from high-performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography and UV-vis spectroscopy. • Received positive feedback from senior chemists.
