Mush Studio is an independent illustration co-founded by myself and focuses on creating freelance Graphic design and Illustrations for various clients.Over the last year the studio has grown and I have created work for various clients such as Whatsapp, Most Curious Wedding Fair, Mothership, Event Merchandise and Hungama, as well as many smaller freelance and branding projects. I created a very successful campaign via Everpress in support of the Farmers Protest taking place in India, 2021. I wanted to use my creativity to help support the farmers in the protest, and designed an illustration which I heavily shared across social media. I approached influencers and celebrities of Asian heritage to help spread the word, such as Joy Crookes and Riz Ahmed in order to have my campaign reach a wider audience. This whole experience gave me a huge insight into how to successfully run a campaign in order to achieve maximum sales and visibility. This project was very close to my heart and Mush Studio managed to raise over £2000 in profit (from a revenue total of just under £7000) which was entirely donated to a charity helping the cause.The success of the No Farmers no Food campaign led to me being involved in future Everpress collective campaigns, including Growth and Collaborate, where my designs have been part of some amazing collections.My work was also featured on “Its Nice That”- an article that was shedding light on the farmers protest in India and response of the creative Punjabi diaspora in the UK.I create graphic design and content for a number of brands on a regular basis, including Most Curious Bridal Fair. I design and create all their branding, graphics, content, media packs and exhibitor packs using mainly Adobe Creative Suite. I was also responsible for re-designing their entire brand look to give it an updated and contemporary feel.

Managing relationships and gaining more business due to my reputation of professional but down-to-earth communication skills and level of service.Pitching ideas and concepts to new clients in order to assure more business for the company. Adapting a client’s brief and providing research to drive their vision forward.Managing a team of two in the Accounts Department and training new employees to ensure brand standards are met and accounts are managed to the highest level.Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard throughout the whole process, and in doing so building strong working relationships with all departments of the company.Implemented a new template system that maximises efficiency, as well as higher accuracy with providing detailed visuals.
