Mechanical Engineer
Current- Design for mechanical equipment vibration isolation.- Design of rigid steel pedestals for sensitive tools for vibration mitigation (in labs, clean rooms, etc.). - General mechanical design using SolidEdge.- Seismic restraint design for non-structural systems, to ensure withstanding of forces applied by an earthquake, in projects where life safety and ongoing operation of the building is required. - Local representative of KNC - Kinetics Noise Control (Ohio, USA) – knowledge of vibration isolation and seismic restraint products, and theoretical knowledge of these subjects according to American standards. Participated in a few days training course in KNC office in Ohio (2018).- Vibration and noise measurement – analysis of results and writing reports.- On-site project visits – reviewing product installations and problem-solving.- Project management – writing quotes, scheduling, etc.- Working with sub-contractors – getting quotes, submitting purchase orders, etc.
