About Yoann Roth
As a member of the GPU and Deep Learning team at MathWorks, I have significantly contributed to two major products, Deep Learning Toolbox and Parallel Computing Toolbox. My work particularly focus on Deep Learning performance, implementing various cutting edge software patterns to boost performance, and integrating NVIDIA's Deep Learning libraries into our products to get maximum performance on GPUs. My journey has evolved from hands-on development, including bug fixes and feature implementations, to also supervising projects and mentoring engineers from the graduate program. Recently as a Team Lead, I have played an important role in planning and strategizing for Deep Learning performance initiatives, alongside managing and coaching one of our team members.
