Freelance lighting cameraman /DOP with a variety of broadcast experience, working on a range of programs from fly-on-the-wall documentaries to high-end branded content. With almost 10 years experience in the industry, it’s been a pleasure to collaborate with a wide variety of colleagues and contributors - from the fascinating ‘ordinary’ to the rich and famous. Images can evoke emotions and inspire, which is why I take great pride in creating images to do just that. The challenge is always to create strong visuals to tell a story. As a technical problem solver and creative collaborator, my role is to support the Director’s vision. Being an owner operator I can supply a number of camera and lens options if required. I have extensive experience working abroad, from the freezing sub-zero temperatures of the Arctic Circle in Finland to the relentless heat and monsoons of Indonesia. I love filming in any environment and always ready to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the industry. I'm also a qualified drone operator with PfCO and full insurance. I always enjoyed the challenge of filming in new environments and strive to achieve the highest on-screen production values as possible. I’m hardworking and adaptable with a good understanding of editorial narrative and achieving this creatively. I also hold a valid PfCO from the CAA which allows me to operate drones.
