An executive with over 25 years of proven IT and operations experience with positions in global companies, high-tech, R&D environments, and government. In the last 15 years I’ve specialized in taking the IT and operations of global companies to the next level as CIO / Global VP IT / CISO. Among my accomplishments, I have established and led IT, Cyber security, and operations units from scratch and then refining them to be top-notch. I led transformation of company from a small startup to an Israeli unicorns/ Israeli global company with distributed development and offices, with cutting edge IT and cyber security platform to support the business growth and challenges. As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), holding the ultimate responsibility for information and cyber security risks. I led compliance to customer requirements and international standards, including implementing BCP and DR plans. I’ve founded monitoring units, both operational units and security specific monitoring (NOC/ SOC). Leading Internal and external Incident Response (IR) teams to support the business during information security incident and during the risk mitigation process. I successfully led the organization to meet with regulatory requirements ISO27001, ISO27002, ISO27017, SOC2, ISO22301, Privacy regulation GDPR, PIPEDA, Israeli privacy law and ISO27701.Leading Due Diligence (DD) process with potential investors and potential customer include technical questions, session with investors, customers CISO and business decision makers providing support to the sales teams.Leading the IT and Cyber security aspects during marge and acquisition process form the Due Diligence (DD) to the Information Technology consolidation and responsibility takeover. My experience includes managing all Information Technology aspects: strategy, security, infrastructure, network, applications (including ERP, CRM, CMS), service, data centers, deployments (cloud and on premise), and more.I strive for excellence in all my actions, I believe that is the only way to ensure an organization is performing in peak condition – when the IT and operations are continuously improving. It is important to do so in a measurable way so that an organization can always see how IT and operations play a major role in the overall business strategy. From my experience, a key component of this is building a strong team who can work solidly together. I pride myself in my ability to build and empower a strong team filled with technical experts, allowing them to perform to the best of their ability.
