With over 22 years of experience in IT and Shipping, analytical skills, and consulting, I am the founder of Learning Seaman, a startup that provides mental health and wellness platforms for seafarers. I started this venture in November 2021, after working as an analyst, developer, and IT consultant at Smart Solutions, a company that I own and operate since 2001. My mission is to enable seafarers to access holistic mental health and wellness resources and tools anytime, anywhere, and to empower them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their lives. I leverage my expertise in IT, project management and team building to create engaging and effective content that covers various topics, from mental health awareness to meditation, sleep and entertainment. I am passionate about learning and innovation, and I am always looking for new ways to improve and expand my offerings and reach more learners.
