This project worked to help India enhance the deployment of renewable energy technologies, reduce power purchase costs, address its energy security needs, and achieve the government target of 175 GW of renewable energy by 2022. Ms. Sharma supported activity management and carried out a wide range of tasks, including organizing four online training programs, managing ten webinars and 11 national and regional programs, and conducting site visits and face-to-face meetings with partner states, and governments. She assisted in implementing the program’s Activity Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL plan), including collecting data, ensuring gender-disaggregated data, supporting information management systems and data processing, and maintaining overall responsibility for storing and professionally organizing data sets for the team and external auditors. She provided technical assistance to develop and implement effective monitoring mechanisms and support the timely submission of quality quarterly and annual report. Ms. Sharma managed the design, development, and dissemination of effective outreach products for key activities, including briefs, brochures, presentations, infographics, web features, blog posts, newsletters, reports, and social media and website content. She developed multi-media materials, presentations, and other general communications materials (design and content) and tasks. She also served as the point of contact for the organization’s branding and partnership opportunities, which involved keeping all stakeholders informed of the organization’s key initiatives, programs, and research activities through communications. Ms. Sharma supplied TORs for surveys for the capacity-building program. She also led and implemented outreach presence for capacity-building programs, conferences, workshops, webinars, and other events.
