The Steam Cracker Complex have a combined annual production capacity of more than three million tons of Ethylene, Propylene and C4 and C6 olefins products. As an intern of SCC , I have involved in various projects in order to assist technologists and operation team to complete certain tasks.Following are few tasks that I have done.....• Developed monitoring report of charge gas compressor & cold section in Excel in order to guarantee operating, economic, safety and environmental goals of the industry and to avoid abnormal situations in Steam Cracker plant that may result in lower production of ethylene and equipment damages.• Prepared PFD of whole EBR system assigned by general manager within 1 week using Microsoft Visio.• Designed different distillation columns, heat exchangers of steam cracker unit with minimal guidance from the supervisor by using Aspen HYSYS.• Involved with problem solving team during cold box issue and addressed root cause of the problem using 5 Whys. • Emceed farewell ceremony for an experienced specialist of Steam Cracking Unit from India which was attended by 20 engineers.• Participated in SOP startup standards training with operation department on hot, CGC and cold section for 1 day.• Actively took part in Benzene Hazard training in order to have awareness of the risks related to Benzene exposure.
