• Maintaining and reconciling accounts as well as prepared reports; creating, documenting, and posting complex journal entries; recording various intercompany transactions and cost allocations• Managing PO and non-PO invoices, ensuring correct matching with PO and invoices• Maintaining adherence to corporate, accounting and GAAP standards; addressing escalated Accounts Payable issues raised by employees and vendors; ensuring accurate and compliant files and records in line with company policies and government regulations• Formulating Excise / GST Invoicing & other document related to shipping• Liaising with shipping & project department to make sure shipments as per schedule• Executing routine work related to central excise and service tax and GST• Preparation of working for Excise Duty, Service Tax and GST to ensure timely payment of taxes• Ensuring correct availment of Value-Added Tax (VAT) input credits / Central Value-added Tax (CENVAT) credits and discharge of liabilities on time; instituted a robust process for Value-Added Tax (VAT) refunds• Supporting the conduct of internal and external audits by providing information and answers to auditors• Checking:o Ethics and Compliance and Code of Business Conduct to meet US FCPA/ Anti- Bribery requirementso Unrecorded liabilities for items processed apart from PO system• Investigating and resolving customer issues related to billing• Updating TDS certificates received from customer, record the receipt in system• Managing monthly GST Return Data Preparation & filling • Executing reconciliation of sales, purchase, GST GL with register on monthly basis• Helping in the Departmental Audit conducted by Indirect tax authorities & internal auditors.• Ensuring timely completion of tasks assignedHighlights:
