Yogesh is a Gandhi fellow at Kaivalya Education Foundation, and his experience includes close coordination with different government departments, especially education and health, NGO's, SHG's, and PRI's.He is a first-generation learner, born and brought up in a farmer family in Buldhana, Maharashtra. He developed an interest in social work during NSS camp in his graduation course in commerce, which introduced him to existing issues in health, education, the environment, etc. This exposure to social realities created in him a dedication to working for people to solve grass-roots problems.He pursued his post-graduation at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, where he inculcated the values of work ethics and responsibility. While a post-graduate student of commerce, he had varied experience working in areas of the sector like accountancy, finance, and economics. During his education, he ran his own Internet café and mini bank in the village, which has helped him become tech-savvy and adept at handling computer work, any online work, and data entry, where he learned documentation and managed store finances. Also, pick up some communication skills and learn how to deal with different types of individuals. These experiences provided him with an insight into rural folks and rural life through a very close encounter. But he was exploring an opportunity that would provide him with a platform to work with the communities of rural India. Hence, the Gandhi Fellowship has given him the opportunity to work for marginalised communities in Ahmedabad, Gujrat, for 1 year and Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra, for 1 year.While he was working in fellowship, he noticed a teacher lacking technical skills in primary schools. As a result of his determination to solve problems, he attended the group of all teachers at the Shikshan Parishad cluster level and organised technology-related sessions for them, creating the tech sevi teachers. Improved the learning outcomes of the students by creating fearless learningenvironment, and introducing variousteaching-learning practises in the classroom,Implemented various pedagogical and skillenhancement trainings with teachers andHeadmasters using teaching tools The past two years have helped him contribute to creating social impact along with self-transformation by developing corecompetencies like leadership and stakeholdermanagement, community engagement,problem-solving, growth mindset.Besides this, he loves exploring places and has a keen interest in photography, painting, and crafting.
